In regards to fitness resolutions...they don't usually work. It's a lifestyle...you either have it or you don't. Although I don't go to the gym as often as you do, I really enjoy running. I've been running pretty regularly (3-5 times a week weather permitting) since I was about 10 years old. I don't think there is anything wrong with setting goals, however. Setting a goal to complete a finite task, such as finishing school, completing a rebuild, starting a business, etc are completely different than lifestyle changes imho.
